Holistic Care (2)_edited.jpg

What is Holistic Health Care?

Holistic health care is an approach to achieving optimal well-being by addressing all components: the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. In the realm of holistic care, the understanding is that all these components affect your overall health. When one aspect is not functioning well, it will affect the other areas. Holistic Medicine is based on treating the whole person, and the person is ultimately responsible for their own health and well-being.

Holistic health care embodies wholism, where there are multidisciplinary areas of specialties and practices. Practitioners are trained in specific fields such as:

  • Chiropractic

  • Herbal Medicine

  • Holistic Nutrition/Functional Medicine

  • Yoga/Meditation

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) / Acupuncture

  • Reiki

  • Etc..

Healing takes a team approach involving the client and practitioner(s), addressing all aspects of a person's life using a variety of practices, modalities, and protocols to reach optimal health.

Why choose holistic health care?

The holistic health care approach to health is individualized through a comprehensive approach that delves deep into health history, family history, your environment, and bio-individuality to identify the root cause(s). Holistic health is not a one-size-fits-all approach; what works for some may not work for others, which makes each of us unique. Everyone's health condition is an expression of complex interactions between the physical, chemical, psychological, and environmental factors that impact the person's health.

The body is highly adaptable and resilient; it's constantly self-regulating and self-healing to maintain homeostasis. When the body becomes imbalanced, it expresses a wide range of signs & symptoms. These signs & symptoms indicate that something is off; they are not normal. In today's world, we have normalized a range of conditions as they are more common than ever before.

Holistic health care acknowledges that when one body part is not functioning right, other body parts are affected as well. Holistic practitioners focus on the whole body, not just creating a band-aid solution by treating the physical symptoms.

Holistic practitioners believe in the body's own healing powers by treating the root cause(s) of dis-ease. This is done by promoting healthy lifestyle changes, regulating the nervous system, natural treatments, and remedies to support the body. A holistic approach to health is individualized as each of us is unique. Clients will have a new perspective on health by learning new tools, new information, connecting to their body, and bringing awareness to their health.

What do Holistic Nutrition Practitioners do?

What do Holistic Nutrition Practitioners do? A Holistic Nutritionist Practitioner's approach is to peel back the layers to find the root cause(s) of your health concerns. To achieve this, we go through in-depth questionnaires, conversations, environmental exposures, toxic exposure, and comprehensive lab testing (when needed). As a Holistic Nutritional Practitioner, I will:

  • Educate you about diet, nutrients, digestion, eating habits, and lifestyle to optimize YOUR health

  • Educate on the latest evidence-based research on nutrition and lifestyle

  • Assess body functions through health assessment and functional lab tests

  • Educate you on your current health conditions and how to improve your health on an individualized basis

  • Educate on hidden ingredients, environmental toxins, reading labels, and alternate solutions
Support your body's drainage & detoxification to help remove cellular waste, micro-organisms, and environmental toxicants

  • Educate ways to support the body's innate ability to regenerate through multiple bio-hacking modalities

  • Motivate you to incorporate lifestyle and habit changes to improve overall health

  • Empower you to live a healthy, happy, and vibrant life
